Welcome to Paramount

Paramount is a Brisbane based Small Bore Target Rifle Club.

The club promotes ISSF & WSPS target rifle disciplines as shot at the Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games.

We are dedicated to helping all our members achieve their goals.

Athletes compete in events from distances of 10m and 50m in men’s, women’s and mixed competitions.

50m Events – Prone and 3 Positions (Kneeling, Prone & Standing), Auflage(supported)

  • Experience

    The present committee members have a minimum of 20 years of shooting experience each and are all registered range officers. Paramount has 6 “Club” Level Coaches, and two active competition coaches.

  • Juniors

    The Club is seriously committed to the development of junior competitors. We often run introduction shoots for groups such as Schools, Girl Guides, and Scouts.

  • Competition

    We run yearly open competitions, the Bill Campbell Memorial and Oktoberfest.
