You will not need to have a Shooters Licence to shoot on our range but you must be at least 12 years old and if under 15 you will need a parent or a guardian present while shooting.
All unlicenced shooters (or shooters using a class of firearm for which they are not licenced), 18 years and over, must have some form of Photo Identification (student ID is OK)
We shoot
most Friday nights, under lights, at the QTS Jim Smith Small Bore Range, in the Belmont Shooting Complex, Old Cleveland road
at Belmont, starting time is 7.30pm. See Map.

The cost for a visitor/non member is $25.00 which will include all requirements (fees, targets, rifle hire if required and ammunition ). This will allow you to shoot for approximately 1 hour, and with setting up time, a safety course and scoring etc. you should be finished in approximately 2 hours. Small Bore, .22 LR calibre, is shot over a distance of 50m and Air Rifle over 10m.
Saturday Mornings
On the first Saturday morning of each month we conduct a "come and try" session for new shooters. The Cost is $25.00
